originally I feel my proposal was a bit nebulous and I want to nail down what I find interesting about it before going any further. I’d also like to introduce new theory to the project. I feel that the project is interesting as the films I’m inspired by are often overlooked in the larger western canon due to there content (the same can be said for a number of exploitation films)
despite having filming techniques as advanced and deeply confrontational plot around censorship in regards to art which I feel is pertinent to our current moment. I think adapting this style into a modern context would yield interesting results. I would like to make films that reflect how I feel right now and incorporate a lot of what I’m seeing both in real life and online.
